I don’t know what feels better right now. The expression on her face. Or the sight of those sweet tits heaving rapidly beneath her prissy white shirt.

“Ms. Love,” I say and walk toward her. Or perhaps I prowl. She feels like prey, and I’m about to eat her. All over again. Fuck, I can still remember the taste of her.

“I…” She makes a tiny choking sound. Mateo shoots a strange look at her. I reach out a hand, and she stares at it like it’s a snake. When I take hers, there’s barely an answering squeeze from her fingers before I drop it abruptly.

“Please…don’t stand on my account,” I say coolly. I take a chair at the head of the table. She doesn’t so much sit as collapse beside me. “You’ve seen the contract?” I ask.

She aims a dismayed glance at the papers scattered on the floor beside her. I wave my hand dismissively.

“Mateo will give you another copy,” I say. He slides another folder across the table.

“Do you have any questions?” I ask. She’s still staring at me, wide-eyed. I supposed all this is a little unfair. But who could blame me? When I saw the picture her asswipe father had set out on the poker table that night, I hadn’t been able to take my eyes off it.

She has the face of an angel. Innocent and naïve. But that body was designed for fucking. I should know. I’ve explored every inch of it. And in those hours before I finally got my hands on her, that photo had held me enthralled. Curves like a Latina with the crisp cool features of a duchess. My ultimate wet dream. And I own her.

I smile.

“Do you?” I repeat. She blinks several times. Licks her lips.

“For now,” I say as crisply as I can. My zipper is killing me. “We’ll advise you of other duties as needed.”

“Other duties?” she says. I know what she’s thinking. She’s wondering if those duties may extend to more of what we already had. It’s unlikely. I don’t have room in my world for complications. And this pretty morsel is complicated with a capital “C.” But there’ll be use for that sweet ass down the line – I have no doubt of it.

“When our needs change, we’ll let you know as things arise,” I say. Something’s rising right this fucking minute. “Is there anything else?” I ask. She shakes her head, though I can see there must be questions flying around her head like a swarm of bees. “Good,” I say regardless. “You can go.”

She moves to her feet and lingers there a moment, but I don’t look up at her. I don’t stand either.
